1. e4 e6 2. d4 I was fully expecting him to play c5 as he did against Ben. I had done a bit of work to polish my sicilian but.... 2... d5 3. Nd2 Nf6 4. e5 Nfd7 5. Bd3 c5 6. c3 Nc6 7. Ne2 cxd4 8. cxd4 f6 9. exf6 Nxf6 10. Nf3 Qc7 11. Bf4 what a waste of time 11... Bb4+ 12. Bd2 Bd6 13. Nc3 a6 14. O-O O-O 15. Re1 e5 16. dxe5 Nxe5 17. Nxe5 Bxe5 18. Rc1 Bxh2+ 19. Kh1 Ng4 oh happy days 20. Be3 Qd6 21. Nxd5 Nxe3 22. Rxe3 wrong its all over now maybe Bxh7+ followed by Qh5 is better. (Ed: Qh5 maybe worth a try. If black plays g6 white has Qh2 with the idea that Qh2 Kh2 Nd5 can be answered by Bc4 which looks okay for white) 22... Qh6 23. Ne7+ Kh8 24. Nxc8 why am I still here 24... Bg3+ 25. Kg1 Qh2+ 26. Kf1 Qh1+ 27. Ke2 and the rest is history. Why are the mistakes so clear afterwards? 0-1
